Located only a few minutes from the town of Sion in the beautiful central Valais region, the Golf Club de Sion offers an 18-hole course surrounded by an exceptional panorama comprising the castles of Valère and Tourbillon, the terraced vineyards and of course the magnificent Valaisan Alps.
Thanks to the 300 days of sunshine per year, the Sion Golf Club course is one of the only courses in Switzerland open all year round. The Club is equipped with a large free parking lot, a vast driving range with quality Titleist NXT Tour balls, a putting green and an approach area. All these facilities are grouped around the club house which also houses a renowned restaurant which offers fine cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.
Created in 1995, the first 9 holes gave way in 2002 to an 18-hole course designed by famous Swiss golf architect Peter Harradine. It extends over 42 hectares. It is a par 70 with a length of 5’543 meters which alternates tactical and technical difficulties that will delight beginners or seasoned players alike.
