Golf Club Gotthard-Realp

The Realp golf course is harmoniously integrated into the Alpine landscape. It is probably the «most alpine» golf course.

What do golfing and mountain sports have in common? Nothing, you would say, before you saw the Realp golf course. Although only opened in 1997, it has actually been around for centuries at the foot of the Furka Pass. Glaciers, wind and water have shaped the plateau and harmoniously embedded it within the magnificent Alpine scenery.
1,900 metres long, the Realp golf course is a challenging nine-hole course. It is nestled between the rushing Reuss and flowering alpine meadows. The terrain forces the golfers to become mountain hikers – if only to move to the next tee. The surrounding mountain scenery is magnificent. Golfers are therefore cautioned not to be distracted by their golfing.
